Module 3

After hearing about Google Docs from other people and completing a Google Doc form for class awards, I was interested in seeing how easy it would be to set up a google doc and to learn about how they could be used within the classroom.

I have watched the videos provided and actually set up a Google form myself, which I shared with another teacher and her class. I am interested to see the results of the form and to show the children in my class.

I have learnt that Google Docs provides an avenue for children and teachers to create, edit, store, share, and collaborate on line. Google Docs allows access from any computer, where children and teachers can work together on an online document, no emails are sent back and forth to people and they automatically save changes. Google Docs also allows children to publish their work online, therefore giving them an audience to display their work.

  1. I'd like to know how you got on using GoogleDocs in the classroom - both with other teachers, and with the students.

I can see the beenfits, but haven't, yet, been able to get around to implementing a GoogleDoc in the class. This coming Term I hope!
